Messerschmitt 163 rocket glider
The Klima Me163 is a pure rocket glider and is closer to the real thing than models with another propulsion.
It is discussed here in RCgroups Klima-Messerschmitt-163-rocket-powered-warbird
This setup tries to automatically adjust the steering for the 3 phases the model goes through. The first phase is the prelaunch and after flight phase. It's FM0. During this time the altimeter is reset to 0 from time to time if it is more than 1 meter and the Vspd is less than 0.1 m/s. This to prevent drift.
If it detects a Vspd of more than 1 m/s it will initiate the Sticky L03 and that's the launch phase. The 3 timers are reset to 0, L04 with a delay of 5.5 seconds (burning time of rocket) is then triggered. When that becomes true it will trigger the sticky for the glide phase.
The glide phase will end after 45 seconds. It's not possible the Me-163 is still flying then. The glide phase (FM1) will give some up to compensate for the change of the CoG and rates are given 100% (normally it's 80%). Both timer1 and timer3 run during the FM1. The timer1 is stopped when the altitude is below 5 meters and there is no Vspd for more than a second. That timer is only there to give an indication of the glide time.
